Your newpany A national firm eponymous with their well-regarded global network, our client has always had a strong presence in Advisory service-lines. As part of this they have a well-respected corporate finance function, and from this in turn has now developed a standalone Valuations team. Projectse in from all over the UK, both from internal/client referrals and conflict work from other firms. Rapidly expanding, the team is now ready to bring in someone at Executive or AM level.Your new role You'll be involved from the get-go in valuations for:Finance-raising/investment or M&AFinancial reporting Accounting and regulatoryIntangibles assets such as brand and IPShareholder and corporate planning (MIPS, LTIPs, growth shares etc)FundsExpert witness/disputesTaxTo begin with you'll be contributing the economic and financial research/analysis that form the bases of the valuation opinion, and learning the plethora of different models used in the process. As you get more experienced so you will start to contribute to and ultimately shape the valuation report/opinion itself. A full job spec is available on request.What you'll need to succeed You'll be a recent ACA qualified with a good percentage of valuations assurance obtained as part of your audit background. For example if you've had Energy or Funds/Asset Management clients you'll already have some of the relevant experience.On top of this, you'll have the ability tobine detail with retaining a bigger picture, plus of course have a natural interest in 21st century business value drivers. The firm find that they can run a national practice from a regional base, so you'll need to be living in Kent or south-east London to access your main office.
