They are led by some highly experienced minds within the motorsports industry with decades worth of industry experience.About this Wiring Technician RoleThis is a hands-on position where you will be directly involved in the build, assembly, and inspection of bespoke electrical wiring harnesses for cars and boats. You will lead on complex builds, support prototype development, and mentor junior technicians, all while ensuring every harness meets the highest motorsport and marine quality standards.Benefits of working as a Wiring TechnicianBasic salary up to £40,24 days holiday plus bank holidaysEnhanced pension schemeCareer progressionOnsite parkingWhat is expected of you as a Wiring Technician?Extensive hands-on experience building electrical harnesses in motorsport, aerospace or marine environments.Proficiency with System 25Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and schematicsExperience with electrical testing equipment/softwareStrong knowledge of wiring, crimping, connector assembly, and harness routing best practicesExceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solvingAble to work independently and as part of a high-performing teamKey ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble low-volume and prototype wiring harnesses to exacting motorsport/automotive standardsLead complex or first-time builds and assist with prototype developmentSupport the day-to-day operations of the harness workshopPick and prepare line-side stock parts for harness buildsIdentify and report build issues, deviations, or process improvementsMentor and support junior and trainee techniciansCarry out quality inspections to ensure harness conformityMaintain a safe, clean, and organised working environmentFollow company procedures, quality control standards, and health & safety requirementsContribute flexibly to meet production deadlinesParticipate in training to further develop skills and build qualityIf you are interested in this Wiring Technician vacancy and would like to know more about it, please contact TEC Partners today.
