Lodge on the grounds – 3 bedrooms, private garden, kitchen, living room, and dog kennels if required. Start Date: As soon as possible Overview Our client is seeking a Live-in Domestic Couple for a lovely family of four based in East Yorkshire. The family have two boys aged 16 and 12, and are seeking a proactive, hands-on, and trustworthy Couple to ensure the smooth daily running, upkeep, and maintenance of their home and grounds. This is a long-term position for a Couple who take pride in their work, work well as a team, and can maintain a high standard of presentation, organisation, and care across all areas of the household. Key Responsibilities Housekeeping & Household Management Full housekeeping of the main residence, ensuring all areas are maintained to an excellent standard Daily and deep cleaning, care of fine furnishings, silver, and finishes Laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and changing bed linen Online grocery shopping, stock control, and ensuring household supplies are replenished Occasional babysitting or supervision of the children when parents are out, mainly oversight due to their age Assisting with family needs and providing general household support as required Gardening & Estate Maintenance Care and upkeep of the gardens, lawns, and vegetable patch General maintenance and light handyman tasks around the property Mucking out and caring for chickens; willingness to assist with horses in the future Driving duties as required, including school runs, errands, etc Liaising with external contractors, and ensuring the property is secure and well maintained at all times Candidate Requirements Previous experience working as a Domestic Couple within a private household or estate Excellent housekeeping, maintenance, and gardening skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude Warm, discreet, and trustworthy with a genuine love for rural life Confident drivers with clean UK driving licences
