Are you an empathetic Occupational Therapist who has experience within Paediatrics? Pulse is now seeking a band 7 Occupational Therapist to work within a paediatric service at an NHS trust based in Hertford. The Post to cover East and North Herts locality, available to start as soon as possible. Working Pattern: 37.5h, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm. To be considered you will be confident in providing highly specialist Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention, and advice service for children & young people which include a variety of learning and physical disabilities and associated communication difficulties, who are referred to the service. This may include working within the children’s centres, mainstream and special schools, colleges, nurseries, homes and visits to other services such as the wheelchair clinic. Some duties within this post will include:  Ensuring that young people are prepared for the transition to adult life  Fine motor assessments  Managing own caseload efficiently  Treating patients with complex needs, learning difficulties or biomechanical problems Liaising with other healthcare professionals  Skills and experience needed:  Relevant degree/qualifications in occupational therapy  Current HCPC registration  Previous experience working within a Paediatric service – Ideally NHS Encouraging attitude  Ability to think outside the box  Be compassionate and empathetic  Good team work skills  What next?
