This is an excellent role for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality technical support within financial planning and is keen to contribute to a business undergoing strong and sustained growth.About the RoleAs a Senior Advice Technician, you will play a key part in enhancing advisory outcomes by providing high-quality technical guidance at both the initial and final stages of the advice process. You will work closely with advisers and key stakeholders across the business, applying sound judgement on more complex cases and ensuring advice standards remain high.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide constructive technical support and insight to advisers on complex financial planning casesApply clear and informed professional judgement on cases carrying higher levels of riskRespond to both routine and advanced technical queries, conducting in-depth research where requiredSupport enhanced post-audit reviews and contribute to maintaining advice standardsAssist the Advice Assurance team with induction, on-boarding and training of new recruitsMaintain advanced technical and regulatory knowledge through consistent CPD, aligned with the firm's T&C frameworkContribute to the technical development of other Advice Technicians through knowledge sharing and guidanceWhat We're Looking ForChartered Financial Planner status, or working toward the final stages of achieving CharteredA strong commitment to ongoing professional development and further qualificationsExcellent knowledge of personal and corporate financial planning and its regulatory requirementsExperience supporting financial advisers, including constructive review and feedback of case files (KYC, research, reports)Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentConfident using Microsoft Office, cash-flow analysis tools and research systemsBenefits & PerksFlexible working options and competitive holiday allowance, including birthday leave and holiday buy/sell schemesRegular company social events, including annual celebrationsPension scheme and life assurance coverDiscretionary annual bonus (post qualifying period)Health & well-being support, including cashback options and discounted gym membershipsProfessional development pathways, supporting your learning and career progressionRetail and lifestyle discounts across a wide range of high-street and online brands
