Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will provide day-to-day HR operational support, ensuring compliance, promoting a positive culture, and helping the business continue its impressive growth journey. Benefits Package includes:Salary £30,000 - £40,000 DOEFlexible working hoursFull or part-time opportunitiesHybrid workingFree on-site parkingWestfield Health schemeSupportive, close-knit working cultureKey Responsibilities:Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment legislation.Manage employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, disciplinary meetings, and absence reviews.Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.Assist with performance reviews, training needs, and employee development planning.Maintain accurate HR systems and records, ensuring data integrity in partnership with the HR Administrator.Collate and prepare monthly payroll information.Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures.Prepare HR reports and KPI data for the Board of Directors.Support employee wellbeing initiatives including health surveillance and MHFA/first aid training.Act as a trusted advisor and mediator, fostering a supportive and respectful workplace.What We’re Looking For:Proven HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.Good understanding of Health & Safety processes with the ability to oversee documentation, inductions, and support incident investigations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive.Experience supporting payroll and HR systems.CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards).A “salt of the earth” HR professional with a practical, hands-on approach and strong values.If you are interested in learning more about this exciting HR Officer opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
