**Job Role**: HR Administrator
**Location**: Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire
**Shifts**: Monday - Friday
**Duration**: Minimum 6 Months
Altrad have an exciting opportunity to join an established HR team as an administrator. Previous experience preferred but not necessary as full training is provided.
**Main Activities**:
- To provide an effective, professional and efficient HR support service within the Helpdesk Team.
- Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work whilst carrying out the duties of this role in line with Altrad’s values to achieve long-term success
- Maintain electronic personnel folders and documents including creation for new starters and archiving of leaver files
- Answering tickets in the helpdesk,
- Produce a high volume of documents (e.g. set up files for mail merges, produce and distribute accordingly).
- Issuing of probationary review forms to Line Managers and follow up letters to employees following completion of probationary periods
- Identifying documents and files to be archived and send for storage in archive.
- Processing incoming and outgoing departmental post.
- Data cleansing and ensuring department compliant with GDPR
- Photocopying and scanning of documents as required.
**Qualifications / Experience**
- Previous experience of data entry
- Previous experience as HR Admin/Assistant is desired but full training given
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and control own workload;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to promote and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent IT skills and business software such as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 36.25 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Work Location: In person
