About the role: As a Lead Occupational Therapist, you will coordinate the daily operational activities of the Occupational Therapy department on the acute neurorehabilitation unit.   What’s in it for you as a Lead Occupational Therapist: 25 days holiday each year (plus bank holidays) increasing with service, with option to buy or sell leave to suit you Private Healthcare Insurance for treatment at our leading hospitals Private pension contribution which increases with length of service Season Ticket Loan and Cycle to Work scheme Group Life Assurance from day one Critical illness cover Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay Corporate staff discount for all facilities including Maternity packages Comprehensive range of flexible health, protection and lifestyle benefits to suit you Discounts with over 800 major retailers Your main responsibilities as a Lead Occupational Therapist: Work closely with the AHP Manager and other therapy leads to establish and promote the delivery of high-quality treatment Manage a defined clinical case load and provide high quality treatment to patients, within the context of an Interdisciplinary rehabilitation team within both an inpatient and outpatient setting Provide clinical support to junior staff including Senior 1 and Senior 2 Occupational Therapists and Therapy assistants on the rehabilitation unit What we are looking for in a Lead Occupational Therapist: Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) Current registered member of Health Professions Council (HCPC) Specialist knowledge and application of OT assessments and interventions relevant to a neurologically impaired client group Ability to work autonomously and set own priorities Proven leadership skills Maintenance of up to date knowledge re developments in the field of neurology and rehabilitation as pertaining to your field of work Membership of the College of Occupational Therapy Why work with Pulse?
