Liquid Personnel are currently working exclusively alongside Rutland council to recruit for social workers to join their Referral and Assessment. This role is ideal for a qualified social worker who is looking for a new challenge within a very stable local authority.Rutland is a small local authority that offer a very supportive management structure, small manageable caseloads and a great work life balance to go alongside their GOOD Ofsted rating.Duties of a Referral and Assessment social worker To participate in three weekly duty and contact and referral duty system Provide specialist duty cover when required Hold short term CiN plans and CP cases Attend team meetings are and participate in team development Work closely with other professionals such as the police and healthcare Benefits of the roleNot only is Rutland an Ofsted rated Good authority but they also offer a large number of other benefits from generous annual leave entitlement to LA pension contributions as well as the following: Salary ranging from £30,000 – £40,000 plus a £3,000 market supplement Maximum caseload size of 8 cases Flexible working arrangements Supportive management structure Clear career pathway and CPD opportunities Free onsite parking Key requirements for the roleTo apply for the post, you must meet the following requirements: Current SWE registration and valid right to work in the UK Have completed your ASYE UK driving licence A passion to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families
