Tax Director £80,000 – £110,000 Maidenhead Full Time, Permanent Ref: 712802 We are recruiting for a Tax Director on behalf of our accountancy practice client, that is going through an exciting period of growth, hence the need to recruit.  The role will be based at the firm’s office in Maidenhead and will oversee compliance and advisory functions, predominantly within the scope of private clients and OMBs. As Tax Director, reporting to the Tax Partner, your responsibilities will include: Managing a client portfolio and providing a high-quality service to clients Managing the tax team which includes CTAs and ATT trainees Review of Self-Assessment tax returns, self-employed accounts and rental accounts Ensuring compliance with the firm’s published policies and procedures Overseeing the profitable provision of the firm’s tax compliance and advisory service and functions Growing the firm’s client base Providing high level and detailed tax advice to clients on a wide range of matters typically including; OMB tax planning Business sale and acquisition and other transactional matters CGT and IHT Employment related securities Non-resident and non-domiciled tax planning/ advice Tax enquiry work   Please do apply for this Tax Director opportunity if you can satisfy the following criteria: Ideally be a qualified accountant and CTA qualified, with a minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience, gained within a practice environment Significant experience of mixed tax compliance and advisory – private client and OMB Be self-motivated, energetic and able to work independently to meet client and statutory deadlines Be a skilled manager, capable of leading a team and providing guidance You will be an excellent communicator, able to establish client confidence and grow the tax department
