Your newpany Hays are proud to be working with a progressive and established organisation based in Edinburgh who are looking to add an enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join their team. Your new role In your new role, you will be responsible for: Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes, including intepany transactions.Prepare and review monthly management accounts for subsidiary entities.Support the consolidation of Group accounts and statutory audit processes.Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, with a focus on cashflow forecasting.Produce financial reports to inform decision-making across the business.Upload and manage financial data across systems, including VAT return submissions.Review and process payroll. Maintain and update departmental procedures and documentation.Respond to ad hoc requests such as system updates for pricing, products, and expenses.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and data integrity. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a similar finance role.Exposure to manufacturing or hospitality sectors is advantageous but not essential.Strong working knowledge of financial systems and data handling.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Solid technical accounting understanding.Self-starter with enthusiasm and initiative.Strongmunication skills and a collaborative mindset.
