This role is central to delivering high-quality internal and external communications that support the Council’s priorities and enhance its reputation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement corporate communications projects and campaigns.Produce creative content for a range of audiences across multiple platforms, including digital and social media.Liaise with senior officers, elected Members, and partner organisations to ensure effective communication.Monitor and evaluate communication activities.Participate in the Communications Team’s 24/7 emergency call-out rota.Essential RequirementsExperience in communications, marketing, or digital media.Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines.Experience in digital and social media.Recognised qualification in communications, public relations, or marketing.DesirableKnowledge of local government and the public sector.Design and video editing experience.Web publishing and Adobe Creative Suite skills.Additional InformationThis role offers flexibility with remote working options.
