You’ll be supporting pupils with EHCPs for SEND, MLD, PMLD, or SLD needs, helping them feel confident, understood, and ready to learn.This is a full-time role where no two days look quite the same. You’ll work alongside the class team, offering gentle encouragement, clear structure, and lots of positive moments. Some pupils will learn best in the classroom, while others may need a quieter space to focus. You’ll be there for both, helping them stay engaged and celebrating every small win.If you love helping children grow emotionally as much as academically, this could be the perfect match for you.What we’re looking for Experience supporting children with ADHD or other SEND needsUnderstanding of sensory needs and how to create a calming environmentPatience, positivity, and a gentle approach to behaviourConfident communicator who can work well with teachers, specialists, and parentsKnowledge of PECS or similar communication tools is helpful but not essentialRelevant SEND or childcare qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement Why join Protocol Education?
