Title: Event Streaming Manager Agency: VP DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION & TECHNOLOGY Location: Norfolk, VA FLSA: Exempt Hiring Range: Full Time or Part Time: Full TimeJob Description:The primary objective of the Event Streaming Manager is to provide leadership and strategic oversight for the planning, coordination, and execution of live event streaming and video production services. This role manages both the technical personnel and production facilities, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality service delivery across campus. Responsibilities include oversight of Gornto technology spaces, logistical planning and implementation of event technical setups, and the optimization of streaming workflows. The position plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, engaging the campus community, and supporting the professional development of event production staff. Minimum Qualifications:Strong technical expertise in live event streaming technologies and equipment.Working knowledge of video and audio production principles.Excellent event coordination skills working with cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with event organizers.Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.Strong organizational skills for documentation purposes are also important for this role.Ability to integrate streaming requirements seamlessly.Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and remain knowledgeable of current technology trends.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high-quality streaming output.Additional Considerations:
