We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant Physician with an interest in Respiratory Medicine on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Medicine department.Our client are one of the UK's largest and busiest teaching Trusts with a turnover of c£1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year and more than 15,000 staff based across South East London. The Trust provides a full range of local and specialist services across its five sites. The trust-wide strategy of Strong Roots, Global Reach is their Vision to be BOLD, Brilliant people, Outstanding care, Leaders in Research, Innovation and Education, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion at the heart of everything they do.The successful appointee will be asked to undertake various duties, which will include: ensure the delivery of a high quality Respiratory service, contribute to all aspects of treatment and relevant management duties for the proper functioning of the department, Responsible also for covering colleague's periods of annual leave and short-term sickness, . Clinical supervision of junior medical staff as a shared responsibility with other consultant colleagues, Responsible for carrying out teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required and contributing to Continuing Medical Education and clinical governance initiatives, Responsible for out-patient clinic commitments in peripheral hospitals as agreed by the Divisional management team & contribute to the Audit Programme.Our client are based in a beautiful suburb borough on the outskirts of London with close proximity to big international airports, along with access to highly reputable public and private schools within the areaAdditional Information - Will consider full time or part time - 10 P.A's - Prestigious NHS Trust - A well supported & friendly team - Must have GMC Registration - Outstanding Schools within public and private sectorsThis is a Consultant Physician with an interest in Respiratory Medicine vacancy.
