New Private Client Solicitor About the role Our client is a well established, high street law firm with an excellent reputation across the North East for providing trusted, personal legal services. Known for their friendly and supportive culture, they pride themselves on delivering quality, client focused advice across a range of Private Client matters. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor to join their close knit team in Newcastle upon Tyne. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will handle a varied caseload of matters including: Wills and estate planning Probate and estate administration Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications Trusts and inheritance tax planning General client advice and support on later-life planning You will manage your own files with autonomy while being supported by an experienced team. The firm encourages client contact and values long-term relationship building. The successful candidate will ideally have: Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales (or CILEX equivalent). 1–5 years PQE (applications outside this range also welcomed). Solid experience handling a range of Private Client matters. Excellent communication and client care skills. A proactive, organised approach and genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships. (Desirable) Experience with business development, STEP membership, or interest in pursuing further qualifications. Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary in the region of£35,000 – £55,000, depending on experience. Supportive, friendly working environment. Clear career development opportunities.
