We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK help them recruit a Specialty Doctor Obs & Gynae on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.Our client are currently one of the biggest trusts within the UK with over 20,000 NHS experts working within this trust. At the site you'll be working at is a pioneering hospital who are responsible for acute and community health services, a specialist hospital for acute surgery and in fact is where the world's first IVF baby was delivered. With a trust where the mantra is ‘Saving lives, Improving lives', promotes a supportive and open culture which is now focused on learning and improvement. In fact, one reason for their successful CQC rating is their inclusivity and teamworkThe appointee will be joining a friendly, well organised O&G Department where you'll be working in a Obstetrics and Gynaecology department with over 5000 deliveries. Working In a team with 10+ Consultants, the appointee will have responsibilities that range from: working and liaising with the colleagues across the multidisciplinary team to ensure an appropriate, professional and timely provision of care to patients, opportunities to work with a Consultant will be provided to ensure on-going requirements for professional development and education, participation in teaching for career development, opportunities for involvement in audit and quality improvement, covering the gynaecology assessment unit and inpatient ward, gynaecology emergencies; participate in theatre cases and the maternity assessment unit alongside Tier Two junior doctors & undertaking general and specialty gynaecology clinics and also antenatal clinicsThe appointee will truly be joining an amazing situation at a trust based in a location with amazing motorway and railway links to such big cities like Liverpool, Manchester & Leeds.
