About the Job: This is a standalone Credit Control position, responsible for managing a ledger of approximately 500 accounts. Working as part of a small finance team, the role involves end-to-end credit control, from setting up accounts to chasing debt and resolving queries. Duties will include: Managing the full credit control cycle Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email with confidence and professionalism Setting up new customer accounts and assigning appropriate credit limits Handling multicurrency transactions, including GBP, USD, and EUR Performing bank reconciliations and supporting invoice discounting processes Investigating and resolving any billing or payment-related queries Working with SAGE software to maintain accurate and up-to-date records About the Successful Applicant: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control, with experience handling high volumes of accounts. They will be confident on the phone, comfortable dealing with queries, and capable of managing multicurrency transactions. A detail-oriented approach and a willingness to support the wider team are essential.
