INTERNAL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY VIA MYSELFNLC7 £30, - £33,An exciting opportunity has arisen within Community Learning and Development (CLD) for multiple CLD Support Workers (Resettlement) to support families and individuals being resettled in North Lanarkshire and to help them access the services they need. Working as part of the Resettlement Team you will help develop a needs-led support service by providing responsive and professional support to people who have recently arrived through humanitarian schemes such as the Afghan Resettlement Programme, Homes for Ukraine and the UK Resettlement Scheme. An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have good communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. You must have relevant qualifications at SCQF level 5 and above and previous experience of community-based work with young people or adults. The successful candidate will be expected to work 35 hours per week across various locations in North Lanarkshire. The CLD Support Worker (Resettlement) will be line managed by a CLD Worker within the Resettlement team.You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.
