We are recruiting for a long established Engineering company who require an CNC Pre-kit and Stores Controller to support a busy CNC Workshop.Weekly hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm (39 basic)Salary£14 per hour (£28,392pa)Responsibilities: Keeping control and detailed records of all tools and fixtures used in production while in the stores.Issuing of specific tools to the machine shops as required for production.Recording and storing in the correct location the tools upon their return to the storesNegotiating with suppliers and ordering tools when requiredKeeping all records correct and up to date. Key Skills and Experience:Essential A "can-do" approach to workGood organisational and time management skillsYou will have a reasonable understanding of the various types of cutting tools used in CNC machining.Proficient in the use of a computer with Microsoft Word and ExcelTeam PlayerSuit someone with Engineering experience or an ex-machinist Desirable Detailed knowledge of working with MRP and Microsoft productsSome basic assembly skills and engineering knowledgeExperience of daily target driven cultureWorking in an environment with different competing priorities Benefits Excellent holiday schemeSick pay schemePensionFree Parking Job Title: CNC Kitting Stores Person Job Reference: 39848 Salary: £28,392 per year Sector: Location: You Might Also Like
