**Title: Stores Coordinator Reporting to: Operations Manager**

**bigHead is a well-established international manufacturing and engineering business which is growing. The operations team works in close cooperation with both the sales and production teams to ensure external and internal needs and targets are met. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and an ability to take the initiative.**
**The Stores Coordinator is responsible picking, packing and despatch of customer orders. Ensuring that all stock movements are recorded and accurate to the system.**
The Hours would be;
Tuesday 7.30am - 4.15pm
Wednesday 7.30am - 4.15pm
Thursday 7.30am - 4.15pm
Friday 7.30am - Midday.
(Overtime available on Mondays to cover your colleagues' Holidays.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Pick, Pack & Despatch Customer orders.
2. Maintain Raw Materials and Finished Goods areas.
3. Schedule collections with couriers.
**Key Tasks**:
1. Collate all daily required picking lists.
2. Pick all stock required for each picking list, checking exact quantities are packed and labelled correct for despatch.
3. Ensuring that finished stock is relocated correctly and both count systems are amended accordingly.
4. Liaise with couriers to coordinate daily and special requested collections are adhered too.
5. Checking of/receiving goods in, quickly and efficiently ensuring they are allocated and stored in the correct area. To ensure the relevant paperwork corresponds paying attention to detail on parts received so they match the quality standard.
6. To ensure that the stores area is kept clean and tidy and to be able to find items quickly and easily.
7. Consignment Stock, to ensure this area is kept clean and tidy at all times. When receiving / taking stock from bin to ensure data is recorded correctly on the relevant paperwork. Report to the Purchasing Manager when stock is depleting so to avoid any gaps in stock levels.
8. When working on plating/ inspection to make sure that the items are to the correct standard and quality. Ensure the paperwork is filled out neatly and accurately.
9. To minimise any waste of resources, such as materials, consumables and time.
10. To be able to help in other areas based on the demand of production.
11. To ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
**Key Skills & Experience**:
1. Experience in warehouse environment, picking, packing and dispatch.
2. Good time management, meeting targets & deadlines
3. Good knowledge of PC operation
4. Attention to detail.
5. Forklift License preferred.
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 38.75 per week
