The responsibilities of the Head of Operations / Operations Director role are as follows: Support the GM and SLT in driving production optimization across all areas of the facility Support P&L management and ensure cost control across all production areas Contributing to the corporate strategy in production, supply and delivery performance Developing and controlling budgets to ensure resources are allocated in line with objectives Leading the manufacturing engineering, production and maintenance function in lean activities such as cycle time reduction, waste elimination, and yield optimization Lead multi-site CapEX projects to enable production improvements Leading production to ensure all products meet high quality standards and all customer orders are met on time and in full Overseeing supply chain to ensure supply of goods/materials/services supports production targets and within cost parameters Foster a positive culture within all operations, leading, motivating and developing all teams to encourage optimum performance Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within operational areas The experience required for the Head of Operations / Operations Director position are as follows: Degree qualified, apprenticeship or equivalent experience Extensive operations management experience Excellent leadership and inter-personal skills Knowledge of business functions, including supply chain, quality, manufacturing, stores, logistics Analytical skills to evaluate data to guide decision-making Excellent organisational and negotiation skills The successful Head of Operations / Operations Director will be offered the opportunity to join a very well-established, growing organisation that is looking to embrace continuous improvement initiatives to drive the business forward.
