Site Security Officer

We emphasise authenticity and transparency to provide a collaborative service that customers can trust.Main ResponsibilitiesCarry out site duties in line with company policies and procedures.Conduct internal and external site patrols including perimeter and fire door checks.Prevent unauthorized access to/within perimeters and buildings.Liaise with the technical team daily to report alarms/CCTV/gates issues on sites.Collaborate with departmental heads of staff in the event of issues to property and/or assets.Respond to all incidents or emergencies onsite.Site Gatehouse management duties.Site keys and incident report management.Ensure the safety of people on site by reporting any Health and Safety breaches found.Operational performanceEnsure that access/egress duties are actioned in line with company policies.Adhere to company training and processes in the pursuit of duties.Provide excellent customer service skills, remaining courteous and professional.Undertake refresher and developmental training as required by duties.Relevant Skills And ExperienceMust be computer literate in Microsoft Office and bespoke systems (training provided).Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.Customer service oriented, professional and compassionate.Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team or on own initiative.GeneralFlexibility to adapt to new requests outside of the core role on request.Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.Location: ConsettHours: 60 hour weekShift Pattern: 07:00 - 19:00 five days a weekHourly Rate: £12.60Officers required: 1The PersonTo be an effective Security Officer, you will need to be a confident communicator and provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. You should be welcoming, patient with customers, and able to handle conflict professionally.Required Experience And QualificationYou must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
