Neighbourhood Officer

We're seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Housing Officer in Liverpool on an ongoing, temporary contract on behalf of a well-established social housing organisation. This is a full-time role, until at least May 2026, with hybrid working. You will act as a key point of contact for all customers in your designated patch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused, housing and tenancy management services. You will require a driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance to be considered. Key responsibilities: Act as a key point of contact for all customers and stakeholders in your area, responding to any general enquiries and requests Carry out key tenancy management functions such as abandonments, relationship breakdowns, assignments, unauthorised occupation including subletting and tenancy fraud and dealing with failures to allow access Undertake a range of visits including viewings, audits, new tenancy visits, starter reviews and attending evictions Support tenants at low to medium risk of tenancy failure by undertaking an assessment of needs, implement positive interventions and signpost to external agencies Triage all ASB and hate crime cases, and actively manage all low-level ASB & tenancy breach cases in your area Carry out estate inspections and liaise with development & asset teams to improve neighbourhoods and identity issues What you'll need to succeed Strong background in tenancy management with a good understanding of the social housing sector and legislation Experience of managing own caseloads of ASB and safeguarding cases at low level Knowledge and understanding of Welfare Benefits Driving licence with access to own vehicle and business insuranceWhat you'll get in return Weekly pay Option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella Hybrid working Mileage reimbursement
