We are currently looking for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service. This post is based in London, which is easily accessible via public transport.  About the role: As a key member of the Pharmacy Team you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and patient centered clinical pharmacy service to patients at the Duchess of Devonshire Wing (adult cancer services). Duties & Responsibilities: Provide a comprehensive and effective patient centered Clinical Pharmacy service to designated Oncology/Haematology wards. Lead on and develop elements of the clinical pharmacy service to improve the patient experience. Provide release of chemotherapy products according to GMP. Facilitate and promote rational and optimal medicines usage. Provide assimilated and relevant medicines information to healthcare professionals and patients. To participate in the out of hours pharmacy service as per agreed roster. Skills & Experience: You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist with a post graduate clinical pharmacy qualification Post-registration experience in a UK hospital pharmacy Clinical Oncology experience and aseptic services You will need to be patient-focused, proactive and dynamic to operate effectively as the first point of contact for Pharmacy services. The role demands an organised, flexible individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work independently and have good judgement to prioritise workload to meet deadlines. Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%).
