Job description Full-time Qualified SENCO Position - Primary School in B12 (5 days per week)We are a one-form entry primary school located in the B12 area, currently under Ofsted's "Requires Improvement" category. You'll be joining a team of talented, committed professionals, including a warm and dedicated Deputy Head who is a true asset to the school.The Role:As the SENCO, you will:Oversee and lead the school's SEND provision, ensuring that all pupils with SEN receive high-quality support tailored to their individual needs.Work closely with teachers and staff to implement strategies that ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.Be responsible for coordinating assessments, creating SEN support plans, and liaising with external agencies where necessary.Support staff training and development to ensure effective implementation of SEN strategies across the school.Have the opportunity to take on a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) role, which includes a leadership responsibility in the development and delivery of our SEN provision.What We're Looking For:Qualified SENCO: You must hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it).Passionate & Resilient: The school is located in a challenging area, and we need someone who is resilient, flexible, and motivated to make a positive difference for our pupils.Collaborative & Approachable: We value strong relationships and teamwork-building trust and working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals is key to success here.This is a wonderful opportunity for an ambitious, solution-focused SENCO who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children in a diverse and vibrant school community.
