Cosmos Pizza is proud to hold a BRC "AA" rating, reflecting their unwavering commitment to quality and compliance.The RoleAs Management Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team, working closely with senior management to deliver accurate financial insights and support strategic decision-making. You'll play a central role in shaping the company's financial systems, helping to drive efficiency and underpin future growth.Key Responsibilities:Support the ERP implementation (transition from Sage) for Cosmos Pizza and assist with system setup for a new group business.Deliver gross margin analysis by SKU, providing data-driven insights to support accurate forecasting and profitability.Prepare monthly management accounts and provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.Produce budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to guide strategic and operational decisions.Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.Oversee insurance, legal, HR, and data compliance requirements.Supervise an Accounts Assistant, supporting their ongoing development.Manage and improve IT systems and processes across the business.About YouProfessionally qualified (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)Proven experience as a Management Accountant within a manufacturing, FMCG, or product-based environment.Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and reporting.Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Proficient in financial systems and MS Office (particularly Excel).Strong understanding of VAT, tax, and compliance.Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with excellent communication and organisational skills.A proactive self-starter who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced SME environment.Why Join Cosmos Pizza?Be part of an ambitious, growing business with deep roots and a clear vision for the future.Opportunity to shape financial systems and processes and influence key business decisions in the fast paced food manufacturing industry.Collaborative, supportive working culture where your contribution is truly valued.Competitive salary, benefits, and long-term career progression opportunities.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
