Our Edinburgh based client has a inspiring background story, having started out 20 years ago as one persons vision they now enjoy a annual turn over of over 3 million pounds.
Their well loved stationary range is both innovative and quirky which is why they are growing on a yearly basis and as such they are looking for a passionate Account Manager to join their small and carefully hand picked team.
Our client is looking for someone with drive, passion and long term commitment, someone who will drive performance and relish the opportunity to help continue to grow their business. Like many small businesses creating a winning team culture, sharing theirvalues and being committed to their clients and customers is central to their success.
In this role you will be managing a portfolio of large retail accounts such as John Lewis, Waterstone's and Amazon whilst looking for new opportunities. As an Account Manager you will be performing the following duties:
- Developing short/medium term sales strategy for your Key Accounts detailing financials, objectives, opportunities, key activities and promotions required to deliver the sales and margin targets.
- Forming successful key customer's relationships - demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for the product ranges.
- Gaining good understanding of the retailers business, potential threats and opportunities to grow sales.
- Setting up and meeting buyers to present and influence their buying decisions and close sales.
- Preparation of range presentations as required.
- Responsible for monitoring sales performance against targets and reporting back to the Operations Manager.
- Processing orders for key accounts as required.
This role is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work in the office 2/3 times per week, offering a generous salary up to £35K DOE we will only consider experienced Account Managers from a similar industry or an understanding of the retail industry.
