Job Description My client is a fast-growing, specialist engineering company providing perimeter security solutions. They design and deliver high-quality, technically robust systems that safeguard critical infrastructure. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support growth, drive delivery excellence, and embed best-fit project practices. The Primary goal is to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. A key focus is hitting commercial milestones at the right stage-gates to trigger timely invoicing and protect revenue and cash flow. Key Responsibilities: Project Delivery: Lead multiple, concurrent projects from planning through to completion. This includes overseeing Health & Safety (RAMS, site documentation), resource and subcontractor coordination, margin protection, and ongoing progress tracking. Ensuring commercial milestones are met and invoicing is initiated promptly is critical to business success. Team Leadership: Line-manage and support a growing team including an Assistant Project Manager, Field Supervisor, and Project Engineers. Clarify responsibilities, build capability, and foster adaptability as the business scales. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between the Operations Director, MD, site teams, and clients. Deliver clear, proactive communication and reliable project reporting. Continuous Improvement: Help shape and evolve project delivery systems (e.g. SimPro). Identify efficiencies, champion structured project management approaches, and support ongoing improvements. The Candidate:Proven experience managing construction or electro-technical projects - ideally within security, renewables, or infrastructure Strong Health & Safety knowledge in field-based or construction environments Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools Commercial awareness - including budget control, margin protection, and profitability Experience leading and managing teams Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a dynamic environment Engineering background or experience in an engineering-led company (preferred) Experience with project or field service management systems (preferred) Knowledge of the renewables or utility-scale infrastructure sectors (preferred) Familiarity with NEC or JCT contracts (Preferred) Bring calm, clarity, and structure during times of change Are solutions-focused, positive, and collaborative Enjoy problem-solving and continuous improvement Have the initiative, resilience, and adaptability to grow with a scaling business INDE Apply Apply
