Our client is a Global MedTech Company that is a manufacturing leader in Infection Control, Decontamination and Sterilisation. With plans for further growth, this is a key role within an organisation that prides itself on being the most trusted healthcare manufacturer. Guided Solutions has been retained to run the search for a  Managing Director who will join their UK team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference through overseeing company operations to ensure operational efficiency, sales and profit growth, new product development, organisational development and cost-effective management of resources. You will be responsible for making sure the business meets or exceeds quality standards including FDA and ISO compliance. Additionally, you will champion and drive forward the strategy and product roadmap. Key responsibilities will include: Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organisation. Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, new product development, and cost-effective management of resources. Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company. Identify acquisition and merger opportunities and direct implementation activities. Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards and assure compliance with FDA, GMP and ISO quality standards. Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Evaluate performance of employees and staff for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives. Promote the company to local, regional, national, and international constituencies for the purpose of establishing new channels of distribution for company products and services. Direct company planning and policymaking. Product Generation/Roadmap plan. Develop product strategy serving as main input towards R&D development plan. Develop Market Requirement Specification and drive Product launch activities. Creating Pricing strategy (A1 price list). Product Phase in and Phase out. Key experience and skills required: International business experience. Proven ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Exceptional organisational skills. Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to identify new product and market opportunities and develop those opportunities. Has the skillset to promote company both internally and externally.
