This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential. You’ll be joining a friendly, professional team who value your skills and dedication — with flexible shifts to fit around your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD and complex needs. Assist with learning activities, communication strategies, and emotional regulation. Implement personalised support plans and behaviour management strategies. Promote inclusion, independence, and confidence in every child. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapy teams to support pupil progress. Offer support with sensory regulation, personal care, and mobility as needed. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience supporting children or young people with ASD, sensory processing needs, or complex learning difficulties. A patient, calm, and caring approach with excellent communication skills. Flexibility and reliability, with a genuine passion for helping others. Experience with PECS, Makaton, or other communication tools (desirable). A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in care/education (preferred).
