Secondary Behaviour Support Mentor – Alternative Provision (Sunderland) Pay: £89 to £110 per day Start: Immediate Contract: Long-termPerfect for someone who’s passionate about giving young people second chances and positive role models.You’ll support students aged 11 to 16 who benefit from short, engaging lessons and adults who won’t give up on them.What the role includes: • 1:1 mentoring and small-group support • Encouraging emotional regulation and positive choices • Using restorative practice to rebuild trust after incidents • Supporting pupils in practical, vocational or core subjects • Being a steady, predictable presence every single dayYou’ll be a brilliant match if: • You’ve worked in SEMH, PRU, outreach or youth services • You build rapport quickly but respectfully • You understand that progress looks different for every young personMeaningful work with proper purpose.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
