We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Paediatrics department.Our client are is a value led organisation and as such we expect that all employees will be accountable for upholding the Trust's values and be responsible for your own attitude and behaviour. Their values are not just words on a piece of paper, they bond us together, reflect their ambition and shape who they are: Effective Open Communication, excellence and safety in everything they do, Challenge but support, Expect respect and dignity, Local health that inspires confidence.The appointee will be joining a Children's Assessment Unit (CAU) that includes: 8 cubicles, ambulatory care with transfer of patients needing inpatient care to UHCW, Special Care Baby unit (SCBU) - 8 cots Level 1, Drayton Postnatal Ward - 2000+ deliveries per year- weekdays baby checks, Children's Outpatient Clinic including specialist clinics & Day-case and Treatment room.The successful appointee will be asked to fulfil various duties, such as: Assessment and treatment of acutely unwell children in CAU, Assist in the resuscitation and stabilisation of critically children, Diagnosis, treatment and continuing care of newborn infants in the SCBU and Drayton Postnatal Ward, undertake clinic list in Outpatients and act at middle grade level, Undertake treatments and procedures in infants or children attending for Day cases, Participate in undergraduate Child Health teaching and assessments & Assist with quality assurance, audit programmes and managing resources and budgets, when necessary,Our client are based in an amazing city surrounded by attractive countryside, contemporary leisure, facilities and extensive retail outlets along with excellent road and rail links to big cities such as London & Birmingham and easy access to several airports.Additional Information - Prestigious NHS Trust - A well supported & friendly team - Must have GMC Registration - Outstanding Schools within public and private sectors This is a Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics vacancy.
