Job Title: Social Worker – Adult’s Community TeamLocation: Blackpool CouncilRate: £30.66 per hourLiquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Adults Community Team based in Blackpool. What will your responsibilities be?In this role, you will assess and review needs under the eligibility criteria of adult social services. You will coordinate the allocation of safeguarding referrals and monitor their progress. You design individual care packages with the service user, family, and/or carers within a community setting. You will also request funding for packages of care via the resource allocation group through weekly presentations and negotiations. You will undertake safeguarding investigations within community and residential settings and, chair professional and formal meetings related to service users, such as multi-disciplinary meetings and case conferences. You will contribute to team duty rotas to provide prompt and emergency support as required. Additionally, you will maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuous professional development, reflective practice, training, and relevant post-qualifying awards under the PQ framework. You will keep up-to-date with relevant research, government guidance, legislation, and best practices in your specialist areas of practice. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement and development of adult services, providing oversight and support to other professionals.
