We are a well-established business with over 20 years’ experience within recruitment, based in Market Harborough, specialising in recruiting staff for the Automotive, Transport, and Logistics sectors. Role Overview As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be trained with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the recruitment industry. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and registering candidates for various roles within the Automotive, Transport, and Logistics sectors, providing essential support to our operations team. Key Responsibilities This role will involve sales, both face to face and over the phone. Training will be provided, however we need a confident, outgoing individual. You will need to build new business relationships and maintain current clients. Chase leads, research new potential clients and support senior recruitment consultants. Utilise job boards, social media platforms and internal systems to source potential candidates. Screen potential candidates and conduct telephone and face to face interviews to assess candidate suitability. Coordinate and schedule interviews and starts between candidates and clients. General administration. Occasionally travel to client sites for meetings and site visits. What We're Looking For: A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills and ways of working. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Previous experience in customer service, sales, or administration is advantageous but not essential. Hold a full driving licence with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences.
