Our client is going through a huge period of change and growth and therefore require an AP professional to help them through their transition.The role could become permanent for the right personJob DescriptionProcess and manage a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.Manual processingSupporting with improving processesExcel work - spreadsheets and working with large data setsAssist in preparing payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records.Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to address queries.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Maintain an organised filing system for all financial documentation.Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.The Successful ApplicantA successful Accounts Payable (AP) professional should have:Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar accounting role.Be used to working in a fast paced role with a high volume environmentA keen interest and track record with technology/ systems - there is a big drive to modernise process and make efficienciesStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.An understanding of financial regulations applicable to the FMCG industry.What's on OfferA fixed-term contract with a salary range of £30,000 to £38,000 per annum.Opportunities to work within a great business with an enviable cultureAttractive bonus and benefits packageA supportive work environment with a focus on collaboration and excellence.Potential to develop skills and gain valuable experience in accounting and finance.If you are ready to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply for this Accounts Payable (AP) role today
