They are seeking a motivated and compassionate Trainee Teaching Assistant to join their team and develop their skills while supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.This role is perfect for anyone passionate about helping children, even if you have no previous school experience. Full training and ongoing guidance will be provided.About the Role As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you’ll be learning on the job while supporting pupils with: Autism (ASC) Learning difficulties Communication needs Sensory differences Social, emotional and mental health needs Under the guidance of experienced teachers and support staff, your day-to-day role may include: Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups Helping students stay engaged, calm and focused Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation Using simple communication strategies such as visual prompts (training provided) Encouraging independence and positive behaviour Building supportive relationships with pupils Promoting a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment This role will equip you with the skills and confidence needed to progress into a full Teaching Assistant position.What We’re Looking For A patient, caring and proactive personality A genuine interest in working with children or young people Willingness to learn and take part in training Good communication and teamwork skills Reliability, resilience and a calm approach A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply No previous school or classroom experience is required — just enthusiasm and a desire to support pupils with additional needs.Why Join This School?
