Learning Support Assistant – Aspiring Speech & Language Therapist – Education and Training – Learning Support Assistant – Aspiring Speech & Language Therapist About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers, the SEN team, and external specialists to support pupils across the school. Your role will include: Providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with speech, language, and communication needs. Implementing language-rich activities designed to build vocabulary, comprehension, and expressive language skills. Supporting children with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum confidently and independently. Assisting with targeted interventions, observing progress, and communicating outcomes to the SEN team. Creating a supportive, nurturing environment that encourages pupils to engage, take risks, and develop their communication skills. Working collaboratively with teachers to adapt resources and scaffold learning.
