Job Title: Shoe Production Operative - ClickerLocation: NorthamptonSalary: £30,000+ (depending on experience)Hours: Monday–Thursday: 07:30–16:30 Friday: 07:30–12:30(Includes a 30-minute lunch break and 10-minute tea break)Contract Type: Temp to Perm We are seeking an experienced Clicker Operative to join our Northampton-based footwear manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shoe production and a keen eye for detail, as you will be responsible for cutting leather components to precise shapes and standards. Key ResponsibilitiesCutting leather using clicking presses to produce accurate and consistent shoe components.Selecting appropriate leather grades and identifying flaws or imperfections.Ensuring efficient use of materials while maintaining product quality.Working closely with production teams to meet daily and weekly output targets.Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Skills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience in footwear manufacturing, preferably in a clicking role.Strong understanding of leather types and quality assessment.Excellent hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.Ability to follow technical patterns and cutting specifications.Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
