Job Title: Social Worker – Preparation for Adulthood teamLocation: WarringtonRate: £30 per hour An exciting job role has recently become available in Warrington. They are looking for a new member for their Preparation for Adulthood team. Responsibilities:Social workers work alongside individuals who have special educational needs and who have illness and/or disability as they prepare for adulthood and continue to work alongside them until they reach 25 years of age. We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated social worker who has a sound working knowledge of applying legislation, completing strength-based assessments, managing risk, and working creatively to support young people to achieve their outcomes. It is desirable for applicants to have knowledge and experience of learning disability, autism, physical disability, or mental illness. You will need to have excellent communication skills and experience of building and sustaining relationships with young adults, their families, and a range of other agencies.
