New Bid Evaluation Role within the Transport IndustryInterim role which can be based throughout the UKAbout Our ClientThe organisation is a well-established entity within the transport industry. This role can offer great flexibility being based anywhere within England with limited office travel.Job DescriptionAs Bid Evaluator, duties will include, however not be limited to;Analyse and evaluate franchise bids in accordance with set criteria and guidelines.Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for decision-making purposes.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations during bid evaluations.Bidding in Local government contracts relating to Transport, with aspects including Social value, Health and Safety, Innovation and Mobilisation.Provide support in drafting and refining bid evaluation frameworks.Maintain accurate records of bid evaluations and related documentation.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the bidding framework.Communicate findings and feedback effectively to stakeholders.The Successful ApplicantA successful Bid Evaluator should have:Proven experience in Bid/Contract/Procurement Evaluation.Have experience working in the transport franchise sector is essential.Experience working within a Local Government or Combined Authority.Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis.What's on OfferCompetitive daily rate which is dependant on relevant experience.Temporary opportunity to work remotely within the UK.Chance to work with a respected organisation in the transport & distribution industry.Engaging and challenging role with professional growth opportunities.
