Job Title: Social Worker – Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)Location: Rhondda Cynon TaffPay Rate: £39 per hourLiquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Adult Social Worker to join a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub based in Rhondda Cynon Taff. What will your responsibilities be? Caseload Management: Manage a diverse caseload of safeguarding cases, prioritizing based on urgency and need, ensuring timely interventions and support. Safeguarding: Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, conducting investigations, and implementing protection plans to ensure the safety of vulnerable individuals. Adult at Risk Duty: Undertake the Adult at Risk Duty function of the Local Authority, evaluating safeguarding reports against thresholds and statutory guidance. Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with a range of professionals, including healthcare providers, therapists, and community organizations, to provide holistic support. Strategy Meetings: Chair multi-agency Strategy Meetings, Adult Protection Case Conferences, and other professional meetings as required. Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, working to stabilize and support individuals and their families. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, care plans, and interventions, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans in collaboration with individuals, their families, and other professionals to meet their needs. Knowledge Sharing: Ensure the transfer of knowledge and sharing of best practices across the team, Adult Services, and partner agencies. Qualifications and Experience: Professional Qualification: A recognized professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW. Registration: Must be registered with Social Care Wales, the regulatory body for social workers in Wales. Experience: Significant experience in delivering social work services to vulnerable adults, including those with complex needs. Knowledge of Legislation: Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Skills: Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
