Support for Learning Assistant

Killin Primary are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support for Learning assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support children with a range of additional support needs, and may consist of working with individual pupils as well as small groups of pupils, helping them engage with the curriculum and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning support to individuals and small groupsSupport pupils with additional needs, including those with learning difficulties, disabilities, or social and emotional challengesProvide classroom support, ensuring all pupils can access learning effectivelySupport children to access learning and engagement in health and wellbeing activities.Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning support to specific pupil and as required to other individuals and small groupsWork closely with teachers, families and other professionals to implement support strategiesPromote a positive and inclusive learning environmentSupervise and assist pupils, during break and lunch timesWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am – 2pmThe successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
