Pay rate: £12.00ph after 12 time sheets are submitted you will reach AWR which is £13.57 -£13.94. Contract: ASAP On-going - this will work as a 0 hour contract Shifts: Varied - Monday - Sunday (some start as early as am) Shifts will be released on a weekly basis yourself and other members of staff pick up only what you can work. Location: Bristol Parkway/Bristol Temple Meads train station. We can provide a train travel pass to enable you to pick up more shifts over your local region. These stations include Bristol,Bath,Cheltenham, Swindon and Gloucester. Our Customer Service Assistants, will provide a First-class service to our passengers whilst ensuring their safety at all times. They will Pro-actively seek to help customers through clear communication to pass through the station whilst effectively managing the Automatic Gates. As the first or last point of contact on a customer's journey, you'll be assisting the customers in the station with queries and offering assistance as when required at Bristol Parlway station. Helping the public to ensure they understand where to go during their journey, help them in and around the station and providing excellent customer careThey will Pro-actively seek to help customers through clear communication to pass through the station whilst effectively managing the Automatic Gates. You will be involved in.... Effectively operating the gates ensuring the safety of all who pass through them Meeting and greeting our customers as they enter and leave our station Helping with station ramps which you will be fully trained on Luggage assistance Supporting customers needing assistance Ensuring the safety of the station environment What are we looking for? You will need to: Have a professional, but fun approach to your work Be passionate about providing amazing customer service Love working as part of a team, but able to work independently too Have first class interpersonal skills Love the buzz of a busy environment, be able to keep your cool under pressure Be safety conscious - able to spot and anticipate risk Good written and verbal English Adhere to Adecco Rail Drug and Alcohol policy Well-presented and willing to adhere to Adecco Rail uniform standards You will be able to work across a number of stations within the West Region including WSM, Taunton and Exeter Please note a zero-alcohol tolerance is to be adhered to working on the railway and candidates cannot turn up under the influence of alcohol. 18 years and above.
