After recent significant investment, this is a newly created position, working for a firm that focuses on delivering specialised services to its clients and values precision and efficiency in its operations.Job DescriptionAs the Finance Officer (Royalties), your main responsibilities will be:Manage the calculation and processing of royalty payments accurately and efficiently.Reconcile royalty accounts and address any discrepancies promptly.Prepare detailed financial reports related to royalties for internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within the accounting system.Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes as required.Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the efficiency of the finance team.The Successful ApplicantA successful Finance Officer (Royalties) should have:Proven experience in accounting and finance, ideally within the business services industry.Experience in working with royalties/commissions.Strong knowledge of financial processes and principles.Ability to work with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.Permanent position offering stability and growth opportunities.Opportunity to work in a small-sized company with a direct line to company Directors.Located in Brighton with access to a vibrant and dynamic working environment.If you are an experienced Finance Officer looking for a new challenge in Brighton, we encourage you to apply today
