Grafton Banks Finance are working with a commercial services company with offices in Brighton, East Sussex to recruit an actively studying Part Qualified Finance Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance this newly created role will provide strategic financial support and analysis across the business. This role is critical to driving commercial performance, supporting decision-making with robust financial insights, managing risks, and ensuring divisional alignment with Group financial objectives.Duties and Responsibilities will include:Partner with Divisional heads and their direct reports to provide financial reporting that drives performanceLead monthly performance reviews with operational teams, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actionsSupport strategic initiatives including BD, negotiations, and investment appraisalsDevelop and maintain divisional KPI dashboards and performance metricsOverseeing all bookkeeping for the divisionPreparation of monthly MIManagement Reporting & AnalysisPrepare monthly management accounts and board reportsProduce accurate forecasts and support the budgeting processSupport contract reviews and margin analysis for new opportunitiesMonitor project performance and work-in-progress, identifying potential issues earlyCollaborate with Commercial Managers on cost control and recovery initiativesEnsure compliance with financial controls and governance requirementsSupport the business with Process Improvement & SystemsThe successful candidate will be actively Part Qualified studying towards ACCA, CIMA with at least 2 years practical working experience. You will ideally come from a management accounting background including project-based accounting and profitability analysis. You will need to have exposure to Business Partnering and operational finance.You will technically have Advanced Excel with the ability to build financial models. You will need to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to translate complex financial data to both finance and non-finance professionals.For your experience you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package including full study support.
