Two Moors Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated 1:1 Generalist Teaching Assistant in the Reception class to support a child with an Educational Health Care Plan where their main need is communication and interaction. Learning support will be expected from the post holder both inside and outside of the classroom, including break times and lunch times.This post is fixed term to assist with the provision of the special educational needs of the child and is subject to their continued attendance at the school and/or the result of any review of their special needs.Main duties and responsibilities include:• Attending to the welfare and personal care of pupils including those with special educational needs.• Delivering pre-determined learning/care/support programmes.• Implementing literacy/numeracy programmes.• Assisting with the planning cycle.• Undertaking general clerical/administrative support for the teacher/department.We are a 2-form entry primary school in Tiverton with keen and enthusiastic pupils and a dedicated, passionate staff body who bring a vast range of experiences and backgrounds to learn from.
