This role is fast pace, yet extremely rewarding and allows you to be part of a patients journey to recovery. Pulse Nursing are offering flexible shifts with rates between £26.15 and £40.32 Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse responsibilities includes: Plan, implement and evaluate care Assist patients with their activities of daily living Regular assessment and monitoring of patient’s vital signs Perform different types of observations and use of different monitoring systems Use and ensure working function of varied medical equipment such as ventilators, infusions pumps, feeding pumps, monitors Administer medication via different routes Care for patient receiving invasive and non-invasive ventilation Recognize patient deterioration and timely escalation of care Communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives Work as part of a team Make appropriate referrals and Prepare patient for discharge or transfer  Keep accurate and timely patient records and follow local policies and procedures Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse Role Requirements: NMC Registration 6 months  Minimum of 6 months experience in an Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse setting To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV Right to work within the UK – proof will be required As a Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse, you will receive the following benefits: Weekly Pay Holiday pay for PAYE workers A range of payment options: PAYE, PSC/LTD and Umbrella Our online app to view and book shifts 24/7, helping to manage your availability and view pay rates.
