We’re working with a highly regarded residential lettings business offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven Property Manager to step into a Head of Property Management role within a thriving and supportive environment. You'll be joining a well-established team of multiple Property Managers, supporting a hands-on Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day running of the department. This is a brilliant step up for someone currently leading a small team or a seasoned Property Manager ready to take the next step in their career. In a Head of Property Management role, you will be offered: Up to £32,000 basic Realistic OTE of up to £35,000 End-of-year profit Ongoing training and professional development, including ARLA sponsorship Long-term career progression as the business continues to expand Hybrid working No weekends In a Head of Property Management role, your duties will be: Acting as a point of escalation for more complex issues, providing support and guidance to team members. Monitoring team workload, stepping in where needed to ensure service levels are maintained. Managing a small personal portfolio, handling maintenance issues, liaising with tenants and landlords, arranging contractor visits, and processing invoices. Driving customer service excellence and strengthening client and tenant relationships. Supporting the Assistant Manager in developing relationships with approved contractors and sourcing new suppliers. Getting involved in team events and internal initiatives that foster a positive and collaborative culture. To be considered for the role, you must have: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in property management, ideally with some exposure to team leadership. ARLA qualification preferred, but not essential (support can be provided). Must live a commutable distance from Chelmsford A strong customer-first approach with excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other standard property management systems.
