**This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to step up to Head of Commercial Property with a modern firm in Chelmsford.**

**More recently, they have being recognised, with L500 Rankings meanwhile attracting a host of enthusiastic Solicitors across their teams.**

The firm was established by industry leading Partners who wanted to offer their clients the same level of quality you would expect from a Top 200 UK/ L500, without the office politics and internal red tape.

There is a real sense of camaraderie in this practice with work regularly conducted/ referred between teamsand this is something they truly value, imprinted into their culture.

Having worked with this practice for years, it has been incredible to see them achieve their goals, and establish themselves across Essex & East Anglia as a competitor to the much larger firms, punching well above their weight.

This position has been created through further growth, with the existing Partner stepping into more of a business focused role, so there will be a smooth transition for you to champion this role with Partnership, only round the corner as you.

The role is split between Fee Earning, Business Development/ Networking, Management

Core caseload will consist of:

- Commercial Property Sales and Purchases
- Commercial Leases
- Surrendering and Assigning Leases
- Residential Lease Extensions & Collective Enfranchisement

**Business Development** - You will inherit most relationships from the existing Partner, with an expectation to develop this further, introducing your own work into the firm.

**Team Management** - Responsible for a Team of 4x (2x Solicitors, 2x Paralegal/ Trainees) + Support

You will be responsible for delegating, overseeing work completed within the team, meanwhile identifying opportunities for further growth
